How Turbo TAC™ Technology Works
Turbo TAC™ uses Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC) — a proven, salt-free media that causes dissolved hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium) to form microscopic crystals directly in the water stream. Once crystallized, those minerals can no longer stick to pipe walls, fixtures, or appliances the way dissolved hardness normally does.
Unlike a traditional softener, there's no ion exchange, no sodium added to your water, no electricity, and no backwash cycle — just a single tank that quietly protects your entire home. Because there's no salt or drain connection required, Protector XC™ installs cleanly at your main water line with a minimal footprint and needs virtually no ongoing maintenance.
